| �Russian Instrumental Duet� was founded in 1993 in Moscow. It is
unique duet because such the instruments as balalaika and violin - are combined in the
concert performing practice for the first time. The repertoire of the duet consists of the
Russian folk songs, romances and popular classic music. There are the compositions
especially written for this duet. The musicians has
successfully performed in Moscow and other cities and also aboard.
They have some recordings on radio and TV.
Svetlana Yashina and Victor Panin graduated from the Russian Gnesins
Academy of music.
Svetlana Yashina is the author of many songs and instrumental compositions.
Laureate of competitions of Young musicians-violinist.
Victor Panin is the author of many original compositions and arrangements
of russian songs and romances. Diplomant of All-Russia Competitions and All-USSR
Competition. He is member of the Composers Union of the Russian Federation.
